Have 2K on May 13, 2011 at GC28 (which was listed on 05/13/2000) This is also our 44th Anniversary.
Beverly is a GREAT cache… definitely cream of the crop… Very enjoyable hike in to that one… Make sure you visit Blammo! and any of the others… but Blammo! is a must if you go to do GC28 – Beverly…
What fun to read everyone’s goals! And to get some good ideas for caches to put on the to do list also.
Our goals for 2011:
More caching trips with friends
Add several more DeLorme pages (specifically SW Wisconsin)
Add several more Wisconsin counties
Finish up our D/T grid (we are now at 69/81)
Do more earthcaches
Attend a couple of CITO events
Log #5000
Add a few more states (Texas in Feburary)
Publish a puzzle cache I’ve been working on!

2011 Goals:
1) Get all 13 counties in Michigan’s UP. Not likely to happen, but I might be able to get a few more. I think I got half the UP right now.
2) Do a solo numbers run and beat my record of 48 finds in a day. I think 75 is doable if I go to a cache dense place like West Bend. I’m not otherwise a numbers guy. It’s all about quality, not quantity for me. But just once, I want to do a power run like that.
3) Get my 1000th find. I have 752 as of this post. If I do the numbers run as mentioned previously, that will help a lot. Otherwise, I doubt I’ll find 250 caches this year as I continue to clean up areas near me and will not travel far just for geocaching if gas prices remain high.
4) Find a D5 cache by myself. Both of my D5 finds were found by someone in my geocaching party. I just signed the log, but I want to find a D5 myself.
5) Geocache at Mackinac Island. Over 90 caches on the island. I’ll be happy to get half.
That’s my goal for 2011.
