Going Going Gone

In my never ending quest to keep up with the COTM Honorable Mention list, I noticed that someone nominated a cache named Going Going Gone. Unfortunately there are two caches with this name in Wisconsin. In Allouez, there is “Going, Going, Gone!”, a PNG near a baseball field. In Forest, there is “Going, Going, GONE?”, a PNG near a baseball field (no, I didn’t accidentally repeat myself). Would whoever nominated this cache please let me know which one you intended to nominate? Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm – with all the new caches popping up faster and faster, there will probably be more with duplicate names in the future. Although it might be a bit of a pain, perhaps there should be a required place to enter the GC number for nominations. Something for the new website?

This has so far been the job of the person monitoring the COTM voting. The current “monitor” is still pretty new at it learning little nuances along the way. I, er, she promises to do a better job in the future!

It would be cool if in the future GC numbers were also submitted — it would make finding the cache page to link much easier!!
