I am not sure if this is a really good cache placement with all the bomb scares going on…Its Right below a High Voltage line tower…What do you all think…should I say something or do you think it should be ok?
I did one like that a few weeks ago. I was a little concerned hunting it, but it was apparent from the online maps and the reviewers approved it.
I’ve also done a number of caches in (yes in) power poles.
My personal opinion – I’d try to avoid it unless it fits well with the theme of the cache. For a P&G it might not be the best idea.
For a real challenge make it a 5/5 and hang it from the wire. 😆
I thought powerlines wew off limts, like railroad tracks?

I’ve seen this one violated more times than I can remember, and no, don’t even think about asking me what caches they were because I’m not gonna tell ya.
OK I wasn’t going to steal the thread, but I just can’t resist. How about this 😈 😈 😈 idea. I know a few local farmers who use electric fence (yep you know where this is going). How about a D5/T2 cache utilizing a bison tube hanging on the fence?
Now back to the regularly scheduled programming.
I’ll be bringing my heavy rubber gloves to future gotta run caches with a high difficulty rating
ROFL After reading these I think I’m avoiding anything near fences.

Yeah Deputy, avoid any cache that is hanging in plain view on a fence, but has a rating of D5. Theres something just not right there. 😆
