I’m trying to arrange a trip for my wife and myself to head out of a day of geocaching at Gov. Dodge State Park, possibly next weekend. Aside from the caches already in the park, are there some good nearby caches? Is there anyplace else (where there isn’t a cache) that is a must-see in Gov. Dodge park? I did not attend the first campout and have never been in this park before.

I think you’ll really enjoy governor Dodge State Park. It is a beautiful area and has a lot of ups and downs on the trails. We have done all in the park except the new Stone Pillar cache, and they are all top notch and as each are in different areas and require a hike to get to, you’ll probably not get them done in a day. Highly reccommend Artful Dodger multi cache, but the first two legs are not easy to find.
One of our favorite parks, so hope you enjoy your stay. Jeff
