For those who may be interested, the Great Plains Geocaching group is hosting its third annual Cache Bash June 12, 2004. I won’t be able to go this year, but I recommend the event to my fellow WGAers. It’g being held in Ames — home of Iowa State University (hoo-yah!) By the way, at the top of the GP Geocaching web pages you’ll see a Flash animation. It ends with a photo of a red-haired geocacher walking through a grassy meadow. That’s a photo I took of our own Wisconsin geocacher, Yawningdog, during the 2002 Cache Bash.
