i clicked an ad on GC.com for a screen shield for my gps. and ordered one. it is great. it was custom fit for the type of gps you have. it is guaranteed. if it scratches, you peel it off and send it back for a new one. i have tried a case for the gps but have trouble with either seeing thru the plastic, or hitting the buttons, or in the case of the one we got from garmin, you have to take it off to put in new batteries.

ps. i had a really bad scratch on the screen and after doing some research, tried rubbing with brasso. it took out the little scratches and seems to have blended the big one in a little.
after putting on the shield, you have to look really hard to see the scratch.
it’s almost like having a new gps

Just an FYI, they are not really good at replacing the cover when it gets scratched or damaged. I too bought one from the same place, and it did not fit correctly. It was about a mm to large. When I tried to remove it to trim it to the correct size myself, the corner stretched and tore a bit. The company would not only not replace it, they would not even respond to the 3 e-mail I sent them.
