I met the author of the following article tonight while riding my bike. He was walking in the area of one of my caches with a gps in hand, I had to stop.
He stopped at the coords and took a brief look around and went home without logging the cache.
Different but he was just practicing with his gps.

I guess it was only a matter of time until the use of GPSR’s in law enforcement became public knowledge. It’s been going on for a while, but…I guess we’d better watch our step now, eh kids?!

I guess I’m confused by this statement. Hopefully you meant it as a joke. I’d like to think that the vast majority of our community, if not all, are law abiding citizens and have absolutely nothing to hide or “steps to watch”…of course that may be the naieve side of me being unrealistic.

Didn’t log the cache? What a party pooper. (Just kidding.)

    Interesting article though.

Good article. Thanks for the link. I also like the photo — a good ol’ Garmin eMap.

And all this time you all thought I was geocaching.

Technology sure has a way of morphing into all sorts of new uses. Interesting article, thanks for the info. It never ceases to amaze me how technology infiltrates every aspect of our lives.

Even the language we speak… “Technology sure has a way of morphing into all sorts of new uses.

LOL. Never noticed my use of terms before. It seemed to fit the subject, pretty ironic…huh.
