Greetings all!
I’m looking to upgrade to a new GPS. I’m looking for one that will hold topo maps. I see Magellan has a SporTrak Topo and I might go with that. There are several models (Magellan, Garmin and others) that have map capability. Can I use any one of those and load topo maps onto them? Any suggestions on which way is better? I won’t say money is no object but I’m willing to spend a bit more to get a better solution than to get something that will work, if you know what I mean.
Thanks!
I just happen to own both a Magellan Platinum and Garmin GPS V, and topo map software for each. My experience is that the Garmin topo is more detailed and complete of the two.
