If I do 4-5-6 pocket Qs each from a diferent zipcode
I can drag and drop them all into easygps and down load to my gps all at the same time

    now the trouble
I have gpxsonar v 1.4.0 on my dell pda
if I send the 6 pocket Qs to the pda I have to open each one separate

how can I send all 6 PQs to the pda so it is only one file and all the GC# open at the same time ❓

thanks for any help you can give

Buy a copy of gsak: http://gsak.net/

Load them all into one database there and then have gsak export them to one gpx file for you. I’ve done this a number of times.

As much as I like to promote GSAK myself, you can do this same thing with Easy GPS. Just load all the files into the program and then save as a GPX.

I tried to put all of my easygps files into one easygps file and save them as a gpx and send them to my dell axim and when I open them on the PDA in gpxsonar it will show the list of all the caches and when I try to open one of the caches there is no info in there

I just did a test. When you save a GPX with Easy GPS, it loses the description, hint, state, and some other data. The issue is NOT your handheld. It appears to be a builtin limitation of EasyGPS.

Based on this, I’d say stick with GSAK. Its well supported, extendable, and basically the gold standard. I only keep Easy GPS on my drive to help the newbies who aren’t sure they want to spend the money for GSAK. I never use it for anything for myself.

Another option might be ExpertGPS (EasyGPS’s big brother), but I can’t recommend this myself.
