I gave the gas cards to my dad. He was my partner in crime on that trip. We found all 18 and my favorite memory was “Gum Drop Island” on Trout lake. We landed the boat, and by the time I got back from parking the car and trailer, dad was taking on water. 😯 First time out and we forgot the plug. DOH.
Congrats Johnny Cache!!!! I did 11 of them, and ya had to do 12 to enter the contest. I thought I would get back up there to finish em off, but never did, but had a great time with that excellent and fun series of caches.

Congrats from us too.
We are still laughing about muggles putting on an event. They listed the first to take their travel bug at each cache as FTF instead of the FTF each cache. Wewere first on several but left the bugs for others to find.
We also saw some info that they plan on doing it again starting March 1, 2008.

Oh how I wish I could say I never did that…more than once..
I am heading out to the northwoods this week. Too bad I missed the competition but I will still go around and cache.
I did a few of the Northwoods caches yesterday. They are very nice! Too bad I got up here to late for the contest, but I must say that the geocaching up here has been quite excellent! 😀
We saw three Eagles yesterday at Smokey Lake – one of them caught a fish while we were watching.
