    Tomorrow is Groundhog day.
Based on the way this winter has gone, do you think we’ll have 6 more weeks of winter? An early Spring? Winter until July? Skip Spring and Summer altogether and go right into Fall? What’s your prediction?
Mine is that Spring will arrive on March 20th at 00:48.

Since I moved to WI 27 years ago, I have assumed that the ground hog declaring six more weeks of winter would be an early spring. March 15th would be an early end of winter, considering we have often had big snowstorms around that time.

So, I hope the large hairy rodent sees his shadow!

No predictions from me. I don’t want to jinx my vacation in March. I’ll take what comes and hope it doesn’t keep me from getting back from Milwaukee on March 16 and from getting to the Minneapolis airport (to Mexico) on March 17.

Considering the winter we’ve had here (a tornado, 26+ inches of snow over average, and a 47° tempurature shift in 20 hours) I think we’ll probably have sunny skies and 85° by the end of February, followed by sleet and snow come August. And, maybe a hurricane thrown in in mid March.
