Group camp site question?

I see by the new updated itinerary that registration at the beach shelter is 5pm. We are about 2 hours away, and wanted to get as much daylight use as possible, including setting up our camp area. If we arrive at say 3pm ish, is it ok to just go to group site #3 or #4 and set up then meet at the shelter at 5ish for official registation? We dont wanna ruffle any feathers or squat on anyones area though. Our 2 year old kinda runs our schedule a bit and we planned on leaving the Milwaukee area around 1ish give or take. The plan is that there will be someone at the group sites at 3:00 p.m. to help you and answer your questions (no, NOT help you set up!). No one will officially be at the registration/base site till 5:00, so if you are coming as early as you have plans to, just go straight to the group camp, unless you need to purchase your state parks sticker.

I don’t think there are any “reserved” spots within the group sites. 😉
