GSAK macro

Has anyone out there had any luck running the macro….to add the hints to the GPSr? I follow the steps, but the hints do not end up in the Custom POI section. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I have been using a gsak macro to create files to upload with garmins custom POI loader. The macro I am using is called garminPOI(prosperoDK).txt

The first time I used it I was doing everything right and couldn’t ever get the custom POIs to show up. Come to find out there was a bug in the GPS firmware(the unit software) that when you were using custom display color settings on your GPSr, with some color settings the POIs wouldn’t showing up.
This effected all garmins color handhelds. I can say for sure if you have the latest software updates installed on your garmin legendCX, vistaCX, 60csx, 60cx, 76csx, & 76cx, they have now fixed this issue.

I’m not sure if this is what is happening with you but figured I would share the info.
