In regards to the new supplementary waypoints by GC.com

Better support for these new waypoints will come in future versions, with GSAK creating a parent child type relationship between the master cache and the additional waypoints.

This by no means to sway those who use other programs or to promote GSAK but I must say that I been personally quite impressed with the support, capabilities and updates that come out.

I find it impressive that within a short time of the new GC.com PQ, an update to GSAK comes out to handle it.

Clyde is very dedicated to GSAK! I’m not surprised that he is working on a way to incorporate the extra waypoints.

Yup. Can’t say enough about my GSAK . I’m even waiting to shop for a new Garmin X model until GSAK gets a fix for the new language issues.

Best caching related software out there, IMHO. Well worth the donation.

I completely agree! I was amazed how quickly there was an update for GSAK this time. Once again, it was well worth the cost.

I don’t know of any software that can do everything this can, for money or for free.

If all a person needs is to upload waypoints, there is lots of free options out there. for me gsak is worth the money. It can do so much more than just uploading waypoints, but I will say you do need to get over some initial confusion when using it.(since there is so much info in front of you)

EDIT: I noticed a few weeks back that gsak now has a forum of there own. http://www.gsak.net/board/

on the forum you could get updates/bug fixes (beta)and have new features even faster than these final public releases. of course you might run into trouble with beta software having a new bug. It’s amazing how fast Clyde gets updates out when something is added or a problem is found.

I like and use GSAK just pretty much for uploading to my explorist since at the time it was the only program that would do uploading.

Only downsize of the program I find is that I find it somewhat over my league with all the features that I have no idea what to do with or what I would use it for. Its deffinately for the more computer advanced person I feel.

Now only if cachemate would do some upgrades. The software is nice but I have run into times I wish I could sort caches by type or do a search database for a word in cache name.
