Gusty Winds has been called out of retirement by software changes that don’t allow the use of the ampersand in a team name. Yes it is true, Trudy & the beast, long time participants in the WGA activities now need to be escorted through the WGA pages by a sock puppet. Oh, the humiliation. Can’t we just let the sock puppet rest? What is this organization comming to?
Contact Team Black-Cat (website guru) to have your ampersand changed to “and”. The new website software doesn’t like apostrophes, either. Better to eliminate an offending punctuation mark than have a sock puppet running loose around here! π
Already contacted a couple of days ago and the change has been made.
I’m glad I have normal name. My only problem is finding a nail polish color that doesn’t clash with my thumbs.
Did someone say Sock Puppet?
A sock puppet with a hyphen, no less! We too have fallen victim to this travesty, and had to have apostrophes removed. I don’t know what Lynn Truss might have to say about all this, but I’d love to know. π

I dunno either, but I’m sure Buster would be laughing.
Hmmm, I’m lost….

I’m just glad I chose hyphens…
Shure seems to be a shame that some folks have to change their names to keep up with their friends. π

You are more than welcome to re-write the software if you wish. π π
