I wrote these some time ago for kicks…anyone else out there do Haiku?
The trees are speeding
Nerves on edge
Riding screaming fast
Pedals moving
In a blur
He wins the race
Screaming downhill
Giving all
No work today
Freedom outdoors
Fresh cool breeze
Gears turning slow
Pedals are mashing
Lines not held
I will win the race
ItΓ’β¬β’s just a club ride
Not a race
IΓ’β¬β’m not really last
Helmets gleaming
Spandex tight
Bikers dress sharp
Tunnel vision
Heart rate up
I love to ride
Smooth and sexy
Meant to be ridden hard
Carbon fiber joy
I am not a huge fan of Haiku, but THIS collection of Zombie Haiku is something I check out from time to time. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have π
We know an old Martian Haiku:
Red sand between my toes
Summer vacations in outer space.
or maybe not . . . .
Here’s my Submission:
lagrac the monkey
caching is my obsession
my legs are gnarled
