Doing this puzzle cache the old-fashioned way and sitting down with pencil and paper, I quit on the solve when I had all the green boxes for the coords filled in. Had I finished the entire puzzle, I may have found some other solutions, but maybe they would not have affected the puzzle solve.

If I sat down another time to try this again, would I be taking the same path again? Don’t know. Would I end up with the same solutions? Don’t know.

I agree that a checker is up to you, if you want it fine if you dont also fine. I ordinarily do not use one until there is a first to find, which has caused a few of my puzzles to go a week or more without being found.
One other one to note is that some people will still email you asking for verification with coords. I asked two of the gents who have asked me to verify and both complain that have difficulty reading the “code” words (the ones to see if you are human or note) and cant use the checkers
