I am ashamed to say that it has been a year since I have run a PQ and now I am having one heck of a time transferring it to my Oregon 400t. I use a mac, save the GPX file, to my desktop. Hooked up GPS, went into it and tried dragging the GPX file into the GPX file on the garmin….no luck.
Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated….Thanks! GC
I have the Oregon 450, so I would think it would be similar. The PQ (GPX)you need to open to get the 2 files in view, and copy those 2 files into the GPX folder on the Garmin.

Not sure what the issue is…sounds like you are doing it correctly but I’m not a Mac guy….as for the two files, the larger one contains the Geocaches and the smaller file has the additional waypoints. Both files should load independently of each other…in other words if you don’t want the additional wpts (smaller file) you do not need to load it.
That said, I never “save” the GPX to the computer, I just drag it into the GPX folder from the opened zip file.
…Does the Mac open the zip file? I’m pretty sure the file needs to be unzipped before you drag it to the GPX folder.
