I’ve heard about geocaching nearly 2 years ago in the rv.net discussion forums. My wife and I are going camping at Penninsula state park this weekend and decided to give it a try.
My friend gave me his Magellan 2000XL GPS unit. He said if I like it I can buy it for $25. Is that good? TO me $25 is a good price for something I’m starting with.
We have 5 sites earmarked – not sure how many we will get to. I’m very excited!
This website is also great.
$25 is an awesome price!!! That’s great you have 5 picked out to do too. I did the ones in the park, they are a lot of fun. We parked and took our bikes around to some. There are some fun ones around the area. Most are 1 – 2,5 on terrain so that makes it nice. I would avoid “Death’s Door” and “The caves of Door Bluffs Deadlands” as they are fairly rough, a 4 on terrain, to get to. Otherwise…have a lot of fun and let us know how you did!!
