Greetings distinguished members of WGA. I am better known as Silentecho___ After some encouragement from a few friends and a chat with a couple BOD members I have decided that I would like to throw my hat in. (but I want my hat back to keep my hair out of my face) Honestly, I don’t know what I’d bring to the table, I haven’t sat at it.. nor have I ever done anything like this but I sense a calling to be part of it. A little about me…I am two score and ten years old. Some would say I have a bent sense of humor, others just roll their eyes, shake their heads and walk away with a confused look on their face🤪 I tend to think outside of the box and have an interesting imagination and some hidden talents. I’m quiet in nature, a introvert, so prepare yourself if you open me up. I’m a Woodworker by profession, I enjoy working with my hands and creating. In my spare time I veg with veggies in the garden, (there is nothing like walking out your back door and munching fresh from the vine peas in the spring time). I’m a early morning person, that is usually when you’ll find me hiking around on some trail enjoying my surroundings or hunting the geocache. I cache alone mostly and here and there with a friend. My Journey into the adventures of Geocaching began in early 2017. I had bought myself a gps’r for hiking around on Rib Mt and the Ice age. Paging through the menu I came across a tab called “Geocache”“What is this” I wondered, off to the internets I went..typed in geocaching, from that moment I was hooked. Off I went in search of this thing called a geocache, after many attempts I zeroed in on pine cone that just didn’t look right, “is this it?” Yes it was it and I logged my first find on 19/03/17!Maybe I am just what this association needs, or maybe I’m not? I’ll leave that up to you, the members….A snowy trail awaits me! Have a great day!
