Hello. I work at the Weyenberg Library in Mequon and we are planning a geocaching event in October 2011. We need a speaker on the basics of geocaching and lots of websites say to contact my local group for help. I’m looking for a 30-45 minutes talk on a weekday evening. We haven’t set a specific date yet. I appreciate any help or contacts.

    Thank you,
    Nyama

Depending on the date, I can help out. I live in Mequon and I could dust off some presentation materials that I originated a few years ago.

Hello. That would be great if you could help out. I’d be happy to talk to you or email you more info about the event we are planning.

    Here are the basics:
Experience Mequon-Thiensville local history by getting outdoors and participating in geocaching!

We’re using geocaching as a way to get people involved and to learn about our local history. We want to reach out to our community and expose history lovers to a fun, new technology – and expose our technology lovers to our vital history.

In October, Kick-off event will run 4-7pm on a weeknight with speaker on the basics of geocaching. Patrons may pick up their Passport and instructions. Finale event will run 4-7pm 2 weeks after the Kick-off with speaker on Local History.

Please contact me or post how I can contact you off board to discuss details. Have a great day.
    Nyama

    Sincerely,
