Well, new to this site, anyway. We’ve been in Wisconsin forever……

My husband and I, our three children, my dad and brother have just started out Geocaching. We’ve spent the last few months teaching ourselves the basics, and hope to continue for a long time.

We live in the Chippewa FallsEau Claire area, but travel Wisconsin extensively on the weekends.

WooHoo! You live in a hotbed of Geocaching activity! Be sure to attend the Chippewa Falls event beginning this April 14th.

That is quite funny to read, considering what it used to be like here.

Welcome to the WGA! I hope to run into on the trails someday – or perhaps at the CITO event in Eau Claire on 4/14.

Welcome… there are even Minnesota cachers here. Hopefully our paths will cross on the 14th.

Glad to have more cachers here. If ya can, be sure to attend the CITO event WI Robin is holding April 14 in Eau Claire. There is sure to be a lot of us there for that, and she is giving a free geocoin to the first 75 who attend. She had a special CITO coin made, and they will be free!!!! Where else can ya go and get a free trackable geocoin????

Anyway, if ya need any help getting going, or any hints on caches in the area, just ask, and I would be happy to help.

I do have a couple of bookmarks ya might want to look at, one of my Top Ten caches in Chippewa County. Here is the link to it:

I also have Top Ten lists for Eau Claire County and Dunn County, that might be helpful.

Welcome to the best sport in the State where everyone is a winner. You have a taken an excellent step by joining the WGA and posting on the boards.

You won’t find a better bunch of Geocachers anywhere. Everyone is extremely helpful (though some may be sarcastic ) and knowledgeable.

If you are ever in the Racine/Kenosha area and interested in caching or nearby caches just give a shout.
