help in Illinois

I’ve noticed many of you cache in IL. I have a travel bug (Pass It On) that is stuck down in the Lyons F. P. Travel Bug station, GCHPTA. I guess leaving a Packer football as a hitchhiker and asking the Bear fans to “Pass It On” was maybe not the best idea. So, please, if anyone goes that way, could you rescue my tb from “Bear” country and “Pass It On”. Thanks a lot.

LOL – I knew that name of that cache sounded familiar. I had my “Chunnel Express” TB stuck down there for a few weeks this summer.

We’re going down to Chicago in a few weeks but I don’t think we’re going to be headed that far out. If we decide to bang around that area I’ll definitely move it for ya!

I’ll see what I can do about this…I have a friend coming up from Southern Illinois in a couple of weeks…if the bug is still there I will have him grab it on his way North.

You may want to check the cache page again…seems there aren’t any bugs in this cache. I will still have it checked, but it won’t be until the 15th. Let me know if the bug turns up…

I just checked the cache page (8:43 P.M.-10/5) and it is listed along with other tbs. I checked to see if I had the right waypoint and it is. I also emailed someone who was there and took a tb to see if they could provide some help, because a later post said they didn’t see any there–I’m getting concerned. I appreciate any help I can get on this one, thanks

As it turns out, I know one of the people shown to have picked up bugs from that cache. I wmailed him to see which one he took…still awaiting the reply. Also, my friend is going to the cache this weekend to see if he can find signs of life of your bug. I told him to grab it if it’s there. I’ll let you know when I hear anything.
