Help with puzzle cache?

Can some one help me with this one? GCTQ8X : “Political Affiliation?” Anyone have a hint?

Hours of google searches and chasing down hunches have given us nothing. Is the whole puzzle here? It is very close to my home town and I would love to be able to solve it. I normally love puzzles, but this one is making me lose sleep! 😯

This isn’t a hint.
I didn’t ‘solve’ the puzzle, I ‘remembered’ it from a movie.

PS I rewrote this several times to make sure I did not give any useful information. All my posts are similarly refined 😉

I might be able to help ……………but, wait! Naw! I like being cruel, wicked, twisted, etc ………….

Look at the hint given. Think it over. Make use of it.

This cache page was refined, along the lines of Thorson’s web postings. But, I like to think a little better refinement!

I think I got it! I tried “translating” it another way and finally found something that made sense. Have my “hotline” going to check on it right now…..will have to see if they come up with anything.

I was right! The cache was there but it took some time to find it. Thanks for the hints….or non-hints….I figured it out either way.
