That’s so funny. You wouldn’t believe how many people who have logged it I’ve had to help with that cache. Some of them even when I tell them how, they still can’t figure it out. I NEVER thought it would be that tricky. I was especially happy Greyhounder was able to score the FTF with no help. The given dummy coordinates put you on the pitchers mound at the baseball diamond. 8)

As far as short cutting, you’ll have to ask 😯 I’m pretty easy, just ask Mrs. Northwoods.

It’s a crazy one….in pursuit of it, we solved the other two, but that one……… no assistance requested, yet, though. Will take it back up again in prep for 2013.

OK done stealing this thread now! What’s this one about? Oh yeah, rabbit husbandry, or Mathatopia Puzzles? (spell that right? ORTOGRAPHOBIA) 🙂 🙂

It may seem like I don’t reply to inquiries. Most times it’s because I’m contacted through the crappy gc.com contact feature and the sender doesn’t include their email. I’m far too lazy to go out of my way to login to gc.com to respond to messages like this. If I can respond to the message via email, I will but when I see [email protected] or whatever nonsense it uses I usually hit delete.

This is one of many reasons why that site is so anti user friendly. You’d think with all that $$ it’d be much easier to interact with other players. I can interactively chat on words with friends for crying out loud.

A cacher once told me caches are placed to be found. For puzzle caches I’d add, puzzle caches are placed to challenge and be found. The fun of a puzzle cache is both solving and finding. If you leave off the solve you’re not having nearly as much fun as you could be.

            Later!

Words of wisdom, cheeto, but unfortunately also pearls before swine.

If a bucket has a hole in it, is it still a whole bucket?

No, but it is sacred, because it is a holy bucket.
