Not sure if I’m proud of this accomplishment or not, but as long as I don’t get itchy tomorrow or a new cache pops up in my back yard, I will have gone the entire month of February without a single find.

    What’s your longest hiatus?

Two months, four days, and counting. 😥

I was just short of three months between actual caches from November to February. There were two events in there, with it being about 5-6 weeks from the last cache to the first event.

I think it was 27 days in February of ’08. Got wet hiding a cache in -10 degrees. Was sick that entire month!

No hides planned for your neighborhood, BakRdz! 😉

So far, we have done at least one cache each month since we joined, even if it means a road trip. A couple hundred kilometers is nothing to drive as long as we keep the streak alive. Sounds like you need a road trip. 😉 😯

My longest span between caches was 15 days. It was between my first find and my second. Since then I think that the longest I’ve gone without a fix … I mean cache … is 9 days.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

I’ve gone the entire month of Febuary with out a find as well. Not having a car here at UW-Stout means I have to now ride the bike to find a cache. Between classes and the weather it just hasn’t been a good month to ride the geobike except when it got warm there for a few days in which I was able to break out the racing bike. One of these weekends I’ll most likely head for Eau Claire and get a bunch.

84 days from the first day we found some caches until the next time we cached. We were slow learners and I’m sure it will never happen again. Since then it’s probably 7 days.

    49 days for me.

Currently on day 36 of a new no cache streak…unless you count the “Attended” at the event I was at over the weekend.

We sort of have the opposite thing going for February. Since we started caching we’ve never missed a day in February. Or any winter day for that matter. We only started in June 2010, had 8 days in August where we didn’t go caching, but since mid-November we’ve cached every day. I can guarantee you we won’t be caching on Feb 29th this year though.

Just shared this same topic on Facebook (without knowing you had done so here!)

I just ended my longest at 106 days between caches.

To be honest, I was so darn busy during that time I didn’t miss it all that much.

And I’ve learned over the years, I’m just a fair weather outdoor enthusiast. I’ve tried Hunting, Fishing, and Caching in the winter and I’m just not a big fan of winter.

We are getting close to breaking our 65 day record. This is day 59 – none so far this year!

I think mine is around 20 days. I know i have posted a few 10-15 days w/out in the last few months. Baby planning keeps me busy! 6 weeks till little andy comes and I am sure I will break my 20 day streak
