I can not find the first marker for the “…Gibbsom’s Delight” cache at Wirth Park. If I researched right I know I am looking for something that looks like doo doo. This is a frustrating cache!

Congratulations! You are amost eligible for membership in an exclusive club I founded called CFS, which stands for “Couldn’t Find Sh#%”. To qualify, you need to search for the “Scarabaeidae Deltochilum Gibbosum’s Delight” cache unsuccessfully more than once, all the while cursing your GPSR, the cache placer, and the weather while placing none of the blame for failure on yourself. I have successfully met these criteria and am proud to be a card-carrying member of CFS. Of course, if you continute to hunt for this cache and eventually find it, your membership in CFS will be revoked.

I once offered to hold Ken’s hand and walk him to the 1st stage. He refused because he has publicly proclaimed that he will never search for this again . I think he just doesnt want to get kicked out of his little club he created (hee hee).

Anyway, it’s going to be nearly impossible to find with any snow cover. I would bet the leaf cover from this fall has probably buried it also.

You are on the right track. I think everyone has researched what they will be looking for, but it’s not in one of those fake dog crap key holders. It’s very tough to find even when you are standing right on top of it.

I have digital picture of what your looking for. I would be glad to sell it to you. I accept Paypal

There are no postings in the “For Sale” forum. You could be the first to post there by listing your photo for sale. I would purchase a copy but I can already hear my accountant ask me at tax time: “You want to deduct the cost for a photo of WHAT??”

I haven’t heard from Artopsy for a long time so don’t know if he’s active yet or if you’ve messaged him for hints. If you wish some direction, you can email me and I’ll be happy to give you all the clues I can. You see, I’ve taken one person there and pointed to it and they couldn’t see it even then! But yes, any amount of snow could be a problem. My interest being renewed, I might swing by there tomorrow just to see if it is still findable.

I still think that this cache is my personal favorite. If steve’s suggestion in the suggestion box comes true, I will be voting for it for cache of the year.

im not a geocacher or anything i dont know what it’s called and what it’s all abobut but today i was wandering through wirth park and we found this soaked tuberwear container. i searched through it and I thought i was on to some huge murder mystery because i thought ARTOPSY was actually AUTOPSY. The notebook was soaked and it was hard to understand all the entries. I thought a bunch of people were hiding something such as a body. Anyways i took the notebook and tried to figure out this non-existant mystery. I guess i solved it =] So by the way the container is still there it has a golf ball and some tweety bird stickers inside. I was so confused but it all makes sense now.
