Socko, I’m looking forward to the event!
100 caches on August 20th, hmm, that will help me achieve my goal that I set. My personal goal is to have 2,000 finds in my first year.
Cool!
07/05/2005 at 4:22 pm #173826113 more placed this morning bringing the total to 69, 31 to go.
Socko07/10/2005 at 1:49 am #1738262I placed 4 more fillers along the stretch of Highway 100 between North Avenue and Greenfield Avenue and moved a couple others to more challanging places, bringing the total to 73 placed, 27 to go. I hope to have them all in place within the next week to give me enough time to change some of them if need be.
07/10/2005 at 11:51 pm #1738263Waukesha Wizards are counting down the days and planning our attack of the 100. We can not wait for another socko happening.

07/24/2005 at 12:22 pm #1738265All 100 are now placed. I will spend the next couple of weeks tweeking the caches, and moving a few to make them more difficult to find. I am thinkiong about having the event at my house, since it is pretty much centrally located amongst the caches. I would provide coffee, doughnuts, milk and juice. If we wnat to turn it into a regular breakfast, we could get volunteers to bring in other foods and make a meal of it. Let me know what you think. I have a very large back yard and a school parking lot two doors down to accomodate whoever shows, so at least parking wouldn’t be a problem.
07/24/2005 at 3:33 pm #1738266We think it’s very generous of you to make that offer. Whatever comes of it, we’d like to say “thank you!” right now.
We have two electric griddles we could bring for cooking bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc., and an extra 10-cup coffee pot. Plus, I used to cook for a living. Mole makes great pancakes, by the way.
So, _if_ people want to bring some food, and this is organized in advance so we know what we’re doing, we’ll be happy to help out.

dspoid aht hotmail daht com08/06/2005 at 1:42 pm #1738267We have an unexpected scheduling conflict and unfortunately are not able to make the event. If the temps. will be available after the event we’d be happy to get an e-mail with the .gpx locations and hunt a few later that week, or be the collection crew for the containers.
