hotels…

i am heading up to wis.rapids this weekend and i thought that there are some wayside caches along the way. i will be heading toward madison, then thought portage. for some reason i didnt find what i was looking for and was hoping that someone knew (at the last min.) of any caches along the way?? thank you for all your help.

Maybe both…when Lucy and I went to South Carolina this summer we stopped at a hotel in Kentucky. Upon check-in I began talking to the desk clerks about GeoCaching. When we checked out in the morning we found that one of them had left us an envelope with several cache pages in it. She knew we didn’t have any from that area, and wanted us to get some, so… So not only did we find a nice hotel…we got caches too!

Yes, there are a lot of caches in those areas, and a few hotels too. To find geocaches, I just upload a pocket query of all the caches within range of my travels. If you have a good GPS, it will show you where the hotels are too.

sorry about being a little to vague. i was looking for travel bug hotels. i had thought that there were some ON I-94 toward madison, but i could not find any. the only one i found was off the interstate and i was looking/hoping to find one at a wayside? are there any or would i need to get off the interstate to find them? thanks again
