ok I have and Idea for a couple caches I want to hid but no clue who to ask for permission…I see ones in my area that does not say who they asked and I am not sure who owns it i.e. GC1GDA3 which is on an island in an intersection How do I find this stuff out?
For Milwaukee County, http://maps.milwaukeecounty.org/Geocortex/Essentials/Web/Viewer.aspx?Site=PUBLIC will help a lot. While Milwaukee County used to have one of the worst systems for land records, they have upgraded to one of the best. This particular spot is owned by the state.
ok sometimes I dumbfounded who they asked like with that one..the DNR…Dot..I also see some on Guardrails,Street Signsno name on the page who gave permission…I am not moaning or complaining I am just trying to get in to this a little more. 😀
