I found some lunker pine cones yesterday and want to make a pine cone cache. What is the best way to remove the sap?

Heat them up in the oven at about 250. Helps if you can put them on a rack or something so the sap drips off.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

I would suggest that only single guys should try Jim’s suggestion.  Something tells me that making the kitchen smell like a forest fire would be a bad idea in my house!

When they are all done dip a couple of the scraggly ones in chocolate. Then you will be a romantic.
