      Congratulation on your new ticket.
      De WA9HED and I have been WA9HED since 1962.
I have my general and I can found on the 147.39 repeater with PL 151.4 (that’s non standard for this part of the state). That is the hang out for the Milwaukee transmitter hunting group. The next hunt is Friday, October 8, 2004 at 7:30 PM, but the starting point is yet to be determined. For some time now are hunts are only on foot have a Staggered Start. There are always people teaming up with those who have the equipment, so I will post the start location as soon as I hear it and hope that some hams or non-hams can make it.

Thanks for the info Lee. I punched in the 47.39 machine and comes in at s9+ full quieting. Nice clear audio on this machine. I’ll keep an ear open for you Lee.

Looks like I’m working on the 8th, but I’m definately interested in learning more about fox hunting.

LOVE IT!! As impressive as it sounds we don’t use motor control buckets like pictured. I have been down to rockwell automation many times and at some point in a lot of presentations that is exactly how it is.

Well, there seem to be growing numbers involved in Amateur Radio within our group!! I just took the test this past Saturday and am waiting for my call..

The idea of the transmitter hunt sounds like a bunch of fun!! I’d like to do it but will be 450 miles north bowhunting this time…

Would you please keep us informed of any other hunts in the future.. I’d certainly give it a shot!!

          Thanks!!
          ~Bill
