Those of you who have already registered to camp at the Geo-Campout should have received an email from me with this same information. I’m posting it here in case I missed someone and so people attending the event but not camping have the info needed to order the Geo-Campout t-shirts.
The WGA is charging a fee of $8 per night per registered group to camp at the group campsites it has reserved for the 2004 WGA Geo-Campout. When registration began, the WGA had no way to pay these fees. Recently, the WGA set up an online store that allows these camping fees to be paid by purchasing them as an item.
In addition to providing a way to pay the camping fees, the online store allows you to order the 2004 Geo-Campout t-shirts that the WGA is offering. While a design/logo has not been chosen yet, the prices and sizes of the shirts are known, so you can order and pay for them along with your camping fees.
A couple notes on payment. When paying via PayPal, you will be redirected to the PayPal site during the checkout. It is crucial to click the “Click to continue” link after making the PayPal payment to return to the WGA store. If this is not done, your order information will not be saved on the WGA server. If paying by check or money order, the payment should be made out to our treasurer, Steve Bukosky, and sent to him using the following address:

If you have any questions or have trouble using the online store, feel free to contact me.

03/11/2004 at 12:41 am #1736750Bought the t-shirts for Amy and I – however, we have our own site (camper) reserved at the park. We have registered already and were wondering if there are any fees or anything else we need to do at this point? Looking forward to it – not too long!
03/11/2004 at 1:36 pm #1736751The only fee charged is for camping on the groupsites. Since it the WGA over $200 for the campsites (if we max out), we are looking to break even with the camping fees. If you have your own site, the only thing you need to pay for is the t-shirts, if you decide to order some.
As in past events, the WGA will be accepting donations for those who would like to make a contribution. Remember how much you pay in dues? That’s right, nothing. So far the WGA has been able to operate on donations alone.
The WGA is working towards hosting a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. A small fee would be charged as fund raiser for the WGA.
