We have not been active in the LCG as of late but after trolling around the forums to see what we’ve missed in the past few months it appears we missed HP2 on a record-setting run in May. 781.5 points on 69 finds and change…..wow.

Congratulations to a great team and a big Thank You! for keeping the game going. It would be great to see a little more recognition of monthly winners–a quick note in the “News” link, landing page, or whatnot.

Funny you should mention that. I often wonder what became of cachers/owners that I don’t see their caches/posts anymore. Such is the nature of the game and life, I suppose. Other priorites come along, people lose interest, they move away…it would be hard to keep track of everyone. 🙁

Not to steal the thread (well, I did start it) but to address comments above…we are still very much active in geocaching; however, I (the only member of team gotta run who ever frequented the forums anyway) am no longer as active here, but that’s another story.

Yes, an overdue nod for that huge month! I think I tossed out a little incentive mid-way through May too. 😉 It’s fun to watch the ebb and flow of the competition in this game.

As for trolling around in the forums, well, that can tend to become a full-time job…. 😯

I think it’s save to say the Puffins got another month in the bag. A respectable score that once stood as a high water mark until this same team blew the lid off that ceiling! Nice to see you guys at it hard again and getting to experience some more great caches that few take the time to discover.

That goes for the other players as well!

Congrats to the Puffin2. I really don’t think they are huffin’ as much as they would leave one believe. An awesome pace mixing lonely and other great cache finds in places I want to go myself when time allows. Well done; great fun! 8)

Man, I hear the footsteps getting closer…I thought I was safe in the top 3 for a while longer. I gotta find some unfound lonelies within 100 miles of my home coordinates…or I gotta start doing some revisits…NAH!

way to go, i gave it my best for Aug also, but just coudn’t grab anymore without drivin a good distance which i couldn’t justify.
