Hi, we live in Michigan and will be travelling to Minneapolis/St. Paul for a wedding over Thanksgiving weekend. We plan on doing some caching during our trip and are wondering which hunting seasons Wisconsin is in during this time, and if we should try to limit our caching to “city” caches. Thanks for any help that you can give and happy caching!!!

This week through Nov. 27 is gun deer season in WI. I personally would stay away from areas where hunting is allowed and if you are on the fringes, blaze orange would be advisable. There are many nice hides in Eau Claire area, if you are coming that way. I hope you will be able to enjoy some of our fine caches in WI.

Great, thanks for the bit of info. We are planning on doing a few in the Eau Claire area on the way through. We will actually be driving from the Upper Peninsula on our way there and be travelling back through Illinois and Indiana, so we should see a decent portion of the state. Thanks for the help.
