So when 6 new caches come out in your town and you immediately dart out go go find them…. sure, you might expect to see someone out there.. someone from the same town, someone who’s as crazy as you… but who do I run into tonight in Wausau? ZUMA! KSPUD!

I stand in awe. Those guys are truly worthy! I bow before the masters.

(BTW… those guys both meet the aforementioned “as crazy as me” criteria.

Nonetheless I enjoyed meeting you guys on the trail for the first time. Thanks for stealing my FTFs tonight. Hopefully someday I’ll be driving through EauClaire and be able to return the favor 😛 But what can I say… you guys earned them! Nice job! I bow before the masters 😉

Well.GMO, there just might be a dozen or so FTF chances up this way in the next couple of weeks or so……… 😉 but bring your snowshoes! 😉 😉

Man oh man, how we wish we’d had the laptop along on this trip! Might have changed our caching plans for yesterday if we had. We even had the required equipment along.

Congratulations to the master. I guess Trekkin’ will always have to follow in zuma’s footsteps here. We look forward to doing this series ourselves before the snow is gone.

BTW, forgot to mention that Mathman and OPS have done a nice job on this one. All 3 hides that I found so far have had personality and an element of challenge. I snagged the low hanging friut, the multi and the traditionals… now to sit and do the puzzles, which also look very interesting. Should be a good series…. Way to go, guys!

If nothing else… it would be a good one to come into town for during the Non event event and say hi to everyone 🙂

Great to meet you on the trails too, and I enjoyed the little Wausau FTF party we had at Ringle.

But I have to tip my hat to KSpud on making the FTF by sheer determination on the second one, the Long and Winding Road. Way to go Karl!

But yeah, the whole thing was a “bit” crazy. We had cached all weekend in the eastern part of the state, having started before sunup on Sunday, and had just dropped off Seth in Stevens Point and were headed towards Eau Claire on 29 when the caches were published. We already had had a long day and lots of fun, so there really was no need to go get any more.

Anyway, I got the alert, looked at em, and said, Hey Karl, ya wanna go get a FTF? And of course he said “Sure.” So we went and got the first one, which was a piece of cake. We should have stopped right there, but after a series of events that included squad cars, wrong choices, wrong turns, and wrong paths, Karl bushing his way thru the Ringle Marsh at night, Karl ended up with the FTF. Woot.

Anyway, we had fun, and I look forward to attending more FTF parties in the Wausau area in the future.

Oh, TBC, I forgot to tell you… I am a FTF hound. And winter’s over. Isn’t it? Wait… what’s all that white stuff? Crap. See you in 3 months. And… I’m not really a FTF hound… I’m a 2TF hound. sometimes 3TF. or 4. 5 if it needs to be. What the hay, I’ll just stay home and work on puzzles. Dang it, I can’t do those either! Hmm. I guess I’m out of luck.

I have inside information regarding TBC’s desire to beat you to the FTF on My new puzzle cache w/ OPS. TBC said he wouldn’t sleep if that is what it would take to claw the FTF from you the same way ZUMA did at midnight. GO GMO!!!!

I looked at that dern puzzle cache…..man, there is no way I am smart enough to do all that calculating. whoever gets the ftf on that one, deserves it.
