I meet up with the Z-man himself today do some caching. He had a few of my caches on his radar that he wanted to clean up. On of the was Nelson Lake Big Island . Now from where we parked to the cache is about .8 of a mile. But you have go across the lake and up some steep terrain to get to the cache. Well, wind was gusting around 30mph and the lake was snow coverd and slushy in spots. Once we got to the island we had to go through about 12″-16″ of snow. All I’m gonna say is that Zuma had Fun!!! 😆 And as we got back he said” Why didn’t you put the cache on THAT ISLAND YOU S.O.B!!” Like I said, he had fun!
Thanks for letting me hitch a ride with ya Zuma. It was a great time and hope to hook up with you again soon!

It is true. HC nearly killed me today, and there were even eagles flying over head, looking to pick my bones, should I fall. I think I heard one eagle tell the other eagle that they would have to call in another 50 or so birds to feed on me, once HC killed me.
Anyway, it was a great cache, but it was COLD with the wind blowing on the lake, and then we had to walk thru some way deep snow another half mile to the cache.
And to think! There was a prefectly fine small island just off shore from the boat landing that could have been used!!!! The nerve!!!!
