I set a goal this year to get at least 100 points per month, well the first month was easy, but those second months with the same list I kinda struggled a bit to get it, but I did! I started in July so Ive had 3 lists go work on, and I finished this year with 941 points, just shy of 1000
I had set a second goal of getting 1000 this year, but I stompped the list around my area and have nothing left.
In 6 months I worked my way up the list to being #13 since the begining of the game, #4 for the year (If Dave doesn’t jump ahead of me) and I even got #1st place in July
Fun game you guys set up here, Ive been having a blast with it.
Thankxand im ready for next year…………

12/28/2010 at 5:49 am #1940964WOW. That’s pretty amazing. I just checked and had 632 total points last year and only cached and the LCG from August – December. Getting nearly a 1000 points in 6 months is a huge accomplishment. Hopefully you’re not superstitious about #13 or that could be a problem. There’s also a few days left this month and I plan to leave some geotrails yet a little farther away from your normal zone so you could follow the trails. 😯 I also know of one you could get easily (Berlin Tornado) which has a great geobeacon that wouldn’t require a GPSr.

As for next year, take time and enjoy the caches!
01/01/2011 at 7:24 pm #1940966How can a person see where they rank for the year? I cant belive that i would have to add up each month for every person.
01/01/2011 at 8:13 pm #1940967Click on the Lonely Cache Game menu at the left, then click on the tab for Scoreboard. You can do the drop down menu for Time Period there to 2010 (or any other period you are interested in), and that will show you the standings for the period you want. I believe I saw you at #7 for 2010, Dave.
