and wouldn’t it figure…..I have to go to a FRESH geocaching ground for me (near Shawano) and I’ll be all alone with 3+ hours to kill and NO GPS!! It figures the one time I don’t have a co-worker with me to slow me down, and no caching 🙁 b00h00! well at least I can get some descent Sushi at the AWESOME buffet there.
I just voted for that one too. We just need the Joker and the final. Even though we haven’t logged it yet and even though we only have about 25 caches to our name, this is by far the most fun we’ve had chasing one down.
So I got my battery cover last night…. and hit three caches at lunch….. so now I sit at 99……oh bother.
Well never mind the waiting….it was just TOO beautiful to not go out last night and hit one more.
So number 100 wasn’t a big event like I had hoped, but it was a nice 600 foot walk down a beautifully re-landscaped path, edged with flowers right along the creek. My 18 month old walked the entire path both ways while stopping to LITERALLY smell the flowers. (almost every single one on the path!)
My 11 year old daughter who is at “that age” and never wants to do any ‘family stuff” anymore came along, (I made here come, but once we got there she was excited) and my wife, (who has been to busy with the baby and winter to get out caching with me) were also with me.
So for the first time in a LONG time, the whole crew was there for the milestone. What a great way to hit 100 and get ready for hundreds if not thousands of caches to come in the future.
Having fun with your family is an excellent way to celebrate a caching milestone. Congrats!

And THAT is what it is all about!
Congratulations on hitting 100 by the way.
