I have seen Appalation Trail Geocoins, and other coins for scenic trails. but no Ice Age Trail. Has one been made yet? if so…. where can I find one? It would be nice for us Wisconsinites to have one of these. 1,200 miles of trail.. only in wisconsin…. 1 out of 8 scenic trails in USA.. and no coin?
The Ice Age Trail Foundation people have promoted the formation of earthcaches along the trail. Maybe we can get them interested in a geocoin as well.
What I wouldn’t like to see is somebody making and selling a coin on their own without the IATF okay. Proceeds from anything like this should benefit them directly.
thanks a lot. i have discovered other coins like this.. but i would love to see that wooly mammoth on a coin. Ice Age Trail is so great for all of us who live in wisconsin.
I just saw this message thread today. Although I’m not aware of an Ice Age Trail geocoin ever being minted, we ordered a pathtag about a year or two ago showing the path of the IAT meandering through an outline of Wisconsin. I know of one other geocaching team that also plan on making an IAT pathtag in 2020.

That’s cool. Wish I had one of those.
