Which would you pick? Why?
Santa Clara, CA
San Diego, CA
Atlanta, GA
Itasca, IL
Minneapolis, MN
Hanover, MD
New York, NY
Salt Lake City, UT09/10/2009 at 3:10 am #1914017My Choice would be New York,
Being a Volunteer Fireman and EMT, and the anniversary of 9/11 being Friday, someday I would like to make it to Ground Zero

09/10/2009 at 3:26 am #1914018Salt Lake City UT. I really want to cache in Utah. I think it’s beautiful. And I want to volunteer some time at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary near Kanab.

09/10/2009 at 11:29 am #1914020We have done NYC and Minneapolis, so would have to go for Utah if you taking a poll…
TE09/10/2009 at 11:43 am #1914021Atlanta, GA
It’s actually a neat city and Centennial Olympic Park is pretty hoppin in the summer months. Also if you make it out of the city at all there are cotton fields…have you ever actually seen a cotton field? It’s a sea of cotton balls (on extremely thorny bushes).09/10/2009 at 11:45 am #1914022I’ve been in NYC (and GZ); been to parts of Maryland (beautiful), couldn’t care about California, Illinois, or Minnesota; we’ll be driving thorugh Atlanta in Feb… So Utah it would be. But, I’m a sucker for the mountains so it would be a great place to go.
09/10/2009 at 2:06 pm #1914023I’ve never been to the West Coast, so I would probably have to pick Santa Clara, CA.. and everything between here and there.
09/10/2009 at 2:30 pm #1914024Although I have already cached in Utah, I would again choose Salt Lake City. The surrounding area with the mountains and Lake is very scenic.
09/10/2009 at 4:21 pm #1914025It would be a toss up between UT and MD. I have not been to either of those states. UT was on my list to visit last year, but due to a baby on the way we decided it would not be a good time to go hiking. I think the scenery will be the most unique in UT.
09/10/2009 at 5:21 pm #1914026I’ve been all over and found San Diego to be the greatest large city in the US in my mind. I lived there for 12-13 years and just loved it. But that was before geocaching. If I had to pick right now it would be Utah. The wife, cerilene, just returned from Salt Lake and said that she loved it there. She was busy with business but still picked up a few caches. She wants us both to go back next year. I have been through Utah many times (just beautiful) but never Salt Lake. Maybe next summer one can only hope.
09/10/2009 at 9:03 pm #1914027None. I never had an inkling to go to any of those places.

Hmm, I might have to look for that one… GCF7A2. I will be in Santa Clara while attending a training class at a “major Silicon Valley technology company” in a few weeks.

That company wouldnt happen to start with an H would it? That is why I asked to help make my training decisions, but my boss decided for me, go to first available class. So I am there for training on the 28th to 2nd.
If you are there during the same time we could do some post training caching!
