There has been a mix up at the coin manufacturer and the same tracking numbers have been issued to different varietys of coins. Someone had a bad day and made a mistake. It happens, we are all human. They are going to try and leave the activated coins alone and collect the other coins that share that same number – since 2 coins with the same number can not be activated. If you have an unactivated coin (ie a coin that you have not activated) it may be returned for a new one with a “good” tracking number. Even if you don’t plan on activating your coin please exchange it or if you later decide to get out of geocoins the coin will not be usable as a trackable item. If you are in the Eau Claire area and you know where Zuma lives you can drop it off in his newspaper box in an envelope with your name and address on and I will send them in as a group to save on postage and the manufacturer will send you a new one in return. The manufacturer will be posting to this thread with instructions on how to exchange them yourself if you don’t want to drop them at Zuma’s. If you have a coin that you activated and someone contacts you saying they have a coin with the same tracking number instruct them to contact the manufacturer. Sorry for the inconvenience!
