…I’ll be doing my bird stories program at 1PM in Donald Park on June 17. They have a Fathers Day Event there and I was hired for it this year. Lots of fun things going on that day. I’m hoping to plant a geocache to encourage kids to take up birding, but it might be tough since it’s not close to home. I have a “newbie” who can take care of park permission and maybe scouting a location, but she doesn’t have the GPS to mark the coordinates.
So we’ll see. Maybe I’ll see some of you there. I think there is at least one other cache in or near the park, one of the Leopold Legacy ones. Also something not too far called “Climibing the Donald.” Since Trekkin’ will be busy that weekend trekking, no caching for me, though. Only storytelling!
Sounds like fun, may just have to check it out. There are a bunch of fairly recently placed caches near there as well. Not sure if you were asking for help or just posting to let cachers know about the event. If you need help, I should be around.
I just put it out there as another way to maybe meet a few cachers. Hopefully I can!
Sorry I’m going to miss it. We’ll be on our way through Madison on the 18th. 😥
I may be able to make this. Looking forward to meeting you. Maybe I can conquer the last one of the LL series too. Thanks for sharing. 😀
