Dumpster Diving

This is a forum for people who dumpster dive as a hobby. See some of their finds, hear about their adventures.

As far as I can tell, they don’t have a trade up policy, and their trash-out events get confusing.

I think I agree with Ken – you need to either find some volunteer work or perhaps take up another hobby – I think you have way too much time on your hands Jeff.
But……
If a cache was in a dumpster and you were there…… would you find it?
I will be on the lookout for any clues that say – open the hinged metal lid and crawl in.

Although I didn’t know there was a web forum, I have been a dumpster diver for years. Also a dump muggle.

Amazing the great stuff people throw away. Unfortunately, some businesses have went to padlocking their dumpsters.

The trick is not becoming a collector of junk. There are actually many people making a living doing it! Check out some of the strange stuff selling on E-Bay. Guess where it came from?

Although I have not drawn the line on food, I just have yet to find anything good while I was starving.
