….several pot plants that were tossed in the parking lot recently, what should you do? We were enjoying a new to us area not far from here, planting a cache and pondering placing more of them. As Trekkin’ was taking a reading for parking coordinates after we finished, I looked at a pile of stuff to cache out, and upon inspection, they were greenhouse pottings. Literally. Not that old, either, the leaves still were green. Took a photo.
It’s a somewhat remote area and we wonder if parents found this stuff in a kids’ room and got rid of it. There were only a few, in varying stages of development.

When you list the cache be sure to include the child waypoints. 8)
04/15/2008 at 4:10 pm #1887777I would put a cache nowhere near those plants until I had the local cops check it out. It might be somebody moving their “indoor gardening” project out of the basement. They might not be happy with people frequenting their “project”. Just wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt.
We had a similar issue with a local cache and it had to be shut down. (Vagrants had a weed garden behind the Milwaukee Public Schools Headquarters. The garden and the vagrants have been removed, so don’t go looking for them! Get your glaucoma meds from a legit source.)
04/15/2008 at 5:20 pm #1887778Report it. It’s illegal, let the cops clean it up.
04/15/2008 at 6:31 pm #1887779Did that. Hopefully we can list the cache soon.
