I’m in need of a toughcase for my Ipod touch. I do not mind if it’s sightly used as long as it works great and still protects it and is water tight still. I don’t have much money cause i’m on disablity, so I’m looking for a good price. Any help would be great not just for me but the other disabled caches I take out geocaching.
They’re on sale right now for $79.99 on the Magellan website. Make sure if you buy used you get a unit that has had the firmware update. The original model had a problem with the chipset where it only gave real time updates when you were traveling > 4 mph. This was a huge problem, but has been fixed. My unit is currently at Magellan getting swapped for the version with the firmware upgrade to make it usable. Without the upgrade it only updates your position every 2 minutes which is a real mess in the field.
