I was wasting time online and looked these up. I guess they are not what I was expecting, and now I’m curious. Anyone have one? Any comments?

I think my skills would improve greatly if I had something like this, because loading and unloading the hardshell by myself is my big issue right now. I could drop one of these into the lake by our house and paddle to my heart’s content.

Well, not right now. These days, it’s ice racing back there!

Some inflatable kayaks are OK, but if you’re looking for portability + performance, the better way to go is with a folding kayak. For example: http://www.paddling.net/buyersguide/foldingKayaks.html
