I haven’t done much Geocaching since last summer or posted on here in a long time, I have been playing a different game called Ingress.

    Check it out @  https://www.ingress.com/

Its kind of a cross between Geocaching and a world wide Capture the flag game.

We have a lot of Agents that have a Geocaching background and were looking for more that may be interested in learning more about it, let me know.

All Cachers from the Valley (that I know) are on the Green enlightened team!

Game require a smart device with data plan, cant play with just a GPS

It’s interesting to see all the smart phone spinoffs that have emerged.  We remain dumb, but it’s great to see things getting the connected world outside to play.  Have fun!

Its a bit more complicated than Geocaching, You can look videos up on YouTube and when you first start it takes you thru a training. I and I’m sure anyone else who plays would be happy to help, just like the geocaching community. Its not hard even my kids play, I don’t want to give the impression that its a younger kids game though, I have met several players that are in there 60’s/retired.

The game is a Google based game, with the new game came some new communication tools like Google +, Google hangouts and Zello that could be quite useful in the geocaching community too.

    Never to old to learn!

Game produced by Google. Not having G+ Twitter or Face may be a problem. Living in the sticks too. Unless I ge all the cool stuff before anyone else starts playing.
