Who got the International EarthCache Day 2016 souvenir today? What earthcache did you do to get it?
I was with TC54915 and Quarterpint06 and we found Lower Narrows EarthCache https://coord.info/GC17JE4

We got one up in Houghton, Michigan while camping nearby. We found A’a Lava Glacial Erratic, GC3T726.
10/10/2016 at 3:33 pm #2051871I took a friend with me that walks for exercise and tolerates my caching and we explored the nature preserve surrounding Drumlin on the Ledge GC59VPK.
10/10/2016 at 10:36 pm #2051877We got GC16916 Lannon Stone: Dolomite Unearthed. It was pretty funny. Every house on the block, both sides, in the town of Lannon, had a Lannon stone exterior.
10/11/2016 at 7:16 pm #2051888Gah! This is so shameful! I just love EarthCaches and find them whenever I can. But the closest unfound EC away from me was over an hour away and it just didn’t work with the plans that I had for the day. So no souvenir for me this year.
On a related note, if anyone would like to create an EarthCache for me to find in west-central WI, I’d be much obliged. 😉

10/12/2016 at 10:53 am #2051898Becca, I can’t remember if you’ve found the Wildcat one we created or not. Near Humbird. Ice Age Mystery, I think.
We headed to the eastern side of the state and did a big sweep of those babies. On Sunday, we found three….the Flowing Well in Jackson, Between Here and There on the IAT and the Drumlin one near Chilton. All nice ones.
10/12/2016 at 2:27 pm #2051904I had one saved up from a geocamping trip last month: GC1B81M Wisconsin sin Dells EarthCache.
In fact, between all of the virtuals and earth caches which I collected on that trip, I was able to maintain my daily streak. Due to my grade 2 ankle sprain that I suffered during that trip, I had to use crutches to get around for 10 days and couldn’t really geocache.

Yes, I did that one with my kids a few years ago. We loved it! We keep talking about going back, just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
