26JUN03 will be the last day of my 3 week summer school class on geocaching. I’ve got a dozen stoked newbies who just found their first cache (Military Road) and I would love for them to meet the community into which they have now entered. I’m planning on Breakneck (my all-time favorite) as being our last “Team Warriors” find and you are all invited to show up and say hi. We’ll be up there around 930am (unless it’s stormy). I asked the Queen of Wisconsin Geocaching to attend but she says she’s too shy. Please let me know if you think you might be able to make it. Thanks!
Perhaps a little more about what the group and class is all about? I might be able to take a vacation day to be there but would like to know a little more first. It’d also depend on my work schedule too, which changes moment by momemt.

Steve; Do not, repeat, do not take off work to do this. We’re just a rag tag group (12 kids) of middle schoolers. This is a class I threw together to get kids interested in geocaching. They have an innate curiosity about anything technological and GPS is a new toy for them. The 1st week of class we learned about GPS use and geocaching.com (plus a bunch of related internet sites like the WIGA’s). The next 2 weeks of the class we hid a cache (see Ditch Niche Cache) and will be looking for caches. That’s basically it. I just thought that if anyone was in the area and wanted to say hi . . .
Just to let you know that we will try to be there as it is only a few miles from our house. We won’t be able to stay for long but want to meet this group who did our cache Military Road as there first one. We also did your hidden one-Ditch Niche. See you then.
